The 3G iPhone Is Finally Official

It’s for real, finally. The rumors were true and Apple has announced the 3G iPhone, that has many new features and improvement, not just the 3G.

It does have new edges, an iPhone 2.0 firmware, plastic back, a SIM ejector and it should be 36% faster than Treo 720 and Nokia N95, according to Apple.

Better than GPS, it does feature A-GPS, that also grabs informations from cellular towers, it has a battery lifetime of 300 hours in standby, 10 hours of 2G talk and only 5 hours in 3G talk, 7 hours of video and about 24 hours of audio playback.

It will hit the stores as of July 11th in the US and 21 other countries and in the next few months it should be available in over 70 countries. If you are excited about it, you can pre-order it for $199 / $299 the 8GB / 16 GB version.
