HTC Touch Pro Launched

Tags: , , , , , ,

HTC unveiled today the little brother of the Diamond series. It has the same classy curves and shades that made such a success out of HTC’s Diamond, but this one also gives a reason of joy to those of us that need a full set of physical keys to come along with the design.

Let’s see what’s under the hood: Bluetooth, HSPA with 7.2Mbps on the downstream, WiFi, Windows Mobile 6.1 using the TouchFLO 3D interface, a 2.8-inch VGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 500Mb ROM, and 288MB of RAM to complete the collection. The QWERTY slider will arrive in Europe a little later with 900 / 2100MHz 3G and the quadband GSM and EDGE.

The First Pantech Duo 2 Signs

Considering that AT&T’s C810 was called the Pantech Duo, we might as well call their new C820 model ‘Pantech Duo 2′. Not many details were disclosed on the Federal Communications  Commission website, but we can figure it has WCDMA 850/1900 (AT&T’s 3G) and that it will use the Windows Mobile platform, like its predecessor. It’s still way too early to know anything about the release date or price.

HTC Touch Diamond Really Looks Like One

Tags: , , , ,

Probably one of the most tasteful cellphone designs is HTC’s Touch Diamond. Along with its other fancy features and graphics, HTC provided the handheld with an appropriate design, to make it look like a jewel.

You can see from this picture how the curves on its back make it look very much like a diamond, and I think HTC designers should be congratulated for the way they approached this project. It also uses the  Windows Mobile® 6.1 Professional platform and you can pre-order it now for £439.95.
