Finally the rumors that Google is going to release a cellphone might get true, just they won’t make them by themselves. It seems Samsung is preparing two Google Android bases cellphones, due to be released in September, respectively December or January. Also the cellphones won’t be branded with Samsung, but gPhone and the first that will be released is going to be a high-end looking like Blackberry Pearl. The second one will be cheaper, priced at less than $100. Considering it’s true, we might get some more details soon, preferable an official announcement from Samsung or Google.

It’s been rumored for a while that Dell was preparing a cellphone or at least had plans for releasing one. Now, along with it’s latest achievement is going to release one of the fanciest on the market. The company recent bought Alienware, probably the best gaming PC and laptop producers and the cell phone unveiled is designed right in their style.
More exactly, the cellphone looks like the Alienware desktop PC cases and it will use Google’s Android. It’s most important features will be a big high-res display, extreme video gaming capabilities and sound. Yet, we don’t know too much about it, like a release date, price or more specs, but we might find out soon.

Apple gets more competition from Google, who has released a new version of the Android SDK. Google’s advantage is the price, being offered for download for free. The new Android comes with new applications, better functionality and a nicer skin, that takes it closer to a new Operating System. You can grab it from Google’s Android page.
