We’ve heard a rumor that Apple is going to cut down the prices on iPhone and iPod touch with $100 and also might drop the 8GB iPod Touch. The rumors might be true, due to the lowered prices on flash drives and the potential 3G iPhone release. So, after the price decrease on iPhone, you will only have to pay $399 for the 16GB iPhone, $299 for the 16GB iPod Touch and $399 for the 32GB one. If the flash prices continue to decrease that fast we might also get cheaper iPod Nanos.

We already knew about the friendship between Apple and Starbucks, but now they’ve done a productive partnership by releasing an application together. The Quickorder allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to put orders at their local Starbucks shop. This doesn’t seem to be a billion-dollar partnership, but still it’s something useful for iPhone and iPod Touch users and good for the two companies.
