Rumor: Verizon To Release VX6900 Touch

Verizon VX6900 Touch

Verizon seems to update it’s phones lineup with a new touchscreen model from HTC, the XV6900 Touch.  It has a cute design and good performances, with EV-DO, a 2-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6 and GPS. Currently we aren’t sure it’s even real, but it looks like. Also no price has been leaked.

I own the HTC Touch from Sprint. Sprint does currently sell this.

I love the phone, but I do have to fix this rumour: The Touch does NOT have GPS. It has 911-GPS, so that you can be located when you dial 911, but you CANNOT get nice turn-by-turn directions from it. HTC did not implement this feature into the phone - its not that Sprint disabled it.

Other than that, its a great phone; highly recommended. Will be interesting if Verizon does release it too.
