After being launched three days ago, Apple announced the unsubsidized prices for their newest 3G item. Vodafone Italy have set a €499/€569 ($773/$881) price for the out-of-contract iPhone 3G. The first price is for the 8GB model, and the second is for the 16GB type.
If you’re from the US, don’t be surprised, as these prices are quite ordinary in Europe, where the HTC Touch Cruise, which has capabilities such as tri-band HSDPA data, WiFi, GPS and touchscreen is being sold for €549. Although it has 3G installed, some expected more from the new iPhone, believing that some old characteristics should have been changed as well. Well, everyone has the right to an opinion.
