Cell phone review: Toshiba VM4050
The cell phone review is quite happy to review a Toshiba cell phone, for a change. After all, there have been so many other kinds of phones that one wonders as to why Toshiba is not in the running. Now you have the Toshiba VM 4050 to look out for. The phone is for Sprint, and has a large color display and a built in still as well as video camera with flash. This is extremely good for those who like to do video mail, and even though at close to $330 it is rather on the costlier side, it does function quite well. The battery is less than flattering, and you would do well to not expect too much from it.
The Toshiba VM 4050 is certainly not the smallest flip mobile around, and yet it fits into larger pockets and also is quite comfy when you are talking on the phone. The phone is also quite attractive on the outside and has a brushed silver color that looks quite good. The construction of the phone is solid and with 65,000 colors the resolution is quite sharp and strong too. The camera flash and the flash are above the screen, so there is not much of a chance that you would cover the lens with the finger.
