Recent reports show that Philips is working on a new cellphone which will be called Xenium X-Connect. This photo might be bogus because the Xenium series are destined for Asia Pacific and is very unlikely to see one of these in Europe or North America.

The Philips Xenium X-Connect looks great and its rumored feature are also great - 624MHz Intel processor, 3.0″ display (might be touchscreen), Windows Mobile 6, 3G UMTS/HSDPA, GPS, microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0 and AA/AAA battery backup. I would like to see Xenium X-Connect on the market and hopefully, very soon and in the US and Europe, too.

It’s been such a long time that we almost forgot about Nokia. Reports based on a photo appeared in Best Buy’s February Mobile Buyer’s Guide say that the Finnish manufacturer is going to release the N830 Internet Tablet. It looks like the new version will feature WiMAX and it will make its appearence at CTIA.I know that Nokia has many fans and at CTIA they should be awarded for their support.

Fresh rumors about Dell. They fancy into launching themselves in the mobile world. According to Forbes, Dell is preparing to complete a smart phone/multimedia device which can be ready quickly after new year. Taiwanese Quanta Inc. helps Dell developing the device that will feature video/audio demands, also internet applications. The rumors are intensified by “getting the signature” of former Motorola vice-president Ron Garriques. Another thing in favor of producing the cellphone is the recent buying of Zing. Yet, we aren’t sure about this release, but all we can do is wait and see.
