If you’re from the US, don’t be surprised, as these prices are quite ordinary in Europe, where the HTC Touch Cruise, which has capabilities such as tri-band HSDPA data, WiFi, GPS and touchscreen is being sold for €549. Although it has 3G installed, some expected more from the new iPhone, believing that some old characteristics should have been changed as well. Well, everyone has the right to an opinion.

Although Apple is denying and keeps it a secret, everything is poiting toward a launch of the 3G iPhone. A recent report shows that since 19 March, Apple has received 188 ocean containers with products they have never declared before. It’s said that Apple is stockpiling 3G iPhones in order to match the demands after the 9th June announcement at the World Developers Conference in San Francisco.

As the 3G iPhone will be released on 9th June, AT&T announced their employees that they cannot take a vacation between 15th June to 12th July because of an “exciting Summer Promotional Launch”. I think this says it all and hopefully we will get our deserved 3G iPhone.

Reports say that Apple will upgrade the basic Multitouch and the upgrade will consist of properties like “Advanced”, touch apps, file management and navigation - you will use only two fingers to cut, copy and paste. Apple is trying to find easier ways to control your iPhone or MacBook, we don’t now. Another strange thing is the “side pinky swipe” which seems to be a control panel. I don’t know if anybody can predict what Apple is going to do, but there is a truth in every rumor.

We’ve heard a rumor that Apple is going to cut down the prices on iPhone and iPod touch with $100 and also might drop the 8GB iPod Touch. The rumors might be true, due to the lowered prices on flash drives and the potential 3G iPhone release. So, after the price decrease on iPhone, you will only have to pay $399 for the 16GB iPhone, $299 for the 16GB iPod Touch and $399 for the 32GB one. If the flash prices continue to decrease that fast we might also get cheaper iPod Nanos.
