After being launched three days ago, Apple announced the unsubsidized prices for their newest 3G item. Vodafone Italy have set a €499/€569 ($773/$881) price for the out-of-contract iPhone 3G. The first price is for the 8GB model, and the second is for the 16GB type.

It’s for real, finally. The rumors were true and Apple has announced the 3G iPhone, that has many new features and improvement, not just the 3G.
It does have new edges, an iPhone 2.0 firmware, plastic back, a SIM ejector and it should be 36% faster than Treo 720 and Nokia N95, according to Apple.

Although Apple is denying and keeps it a secret, everything is poiting toward a launch of the 3G iPhone.
